Rob Willmoth is a highly rated chess player living in Barnet, North London with thirty-five years of chess playing experience. He had an impressive start to his chess career, becoming London Junior U21 Champion in 1988. Rob currently has a ranking in the top 1% of the country. Throughout the years he has continued to play at a high level, and competed in the British Chess Championships 17 consecutive times.


As well as tutoring for CSC he provides private chess coaching services for children, from the age of five years and upwards, and coaches adults with grades up to BCF 200/FIDE 2200. In September 2011 he took over the running of Barnet Knights junior chess club, and has also started to coach Brentford Football Club to help improve their thinking patterns.
