Colm O'Shea                   

Colm O'Shea is the founder of and CIO of COMAC Capital, a global macro hedge fund. Colm graduated from Cambridge in 1992 and worked as an economist at Oxford Economics before moving into financial markets. Prior to launching COMAC Capital in 2006, Colm ran macro trading for Soros’ Quantum Fund and was a Managing Director in Fixed Income at Citigroup. Aside from chess, Colm is a keen Real Tennis player and is the owner of Holyport Real Tennis Club.



Lee Green                         

Lee Green is Managing Director at KMI Consultants. Interests: sports including tennis, skiing, chess and yachting. Family: married with four children. Weaknesses: cars ... and supporting West Ham!



Rajko Vujatovic    

Rajko Vujatovic is a Model Risk consultant. He is a former Eggheads TV quiz winner. He can hold his breath for 4 minutes and is a four-time gold medallist in the World Diving Chess Championships, where your thinking time for each move is limited by your breath held underwater.



Terry Chapman     

Terry Champman is a successful entrepreneur and former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Terence Chapman Group PLC, which floated on the London Stock Exchange in 1999. Since his retirement in 2002, he has been a keen amateur chess player, achieving the FIDE Master title and reaching his highest rating so far (2331) in 2013. Terry shared the British Championship over 50's title in Torquay in August 2019 scoring 5½/7 with a performance rating of 2313.



Justin Baptie                   

Justin Baptie's main business interests are as Managing Director of Insight Strategic Associates, a firm of accountants dealing with the SME and HNW market and as Chairman of Savills Catering, a specialist contract catering company for schools and care homes. Always has a few other business ventures on the go to keep him out of mischief. Justin tries to recapture his golfing abilities when possible and hopes he can remember what to do when playing chess. Married with two beautiful daughters.



Etan Ilfeld                       

Etan Ilfeld is a London-based entrepreneur. He is founder of Tenderpixel gallery, Tenderbooks, Tenderflix, Repeater Books, and the owner and managing director of Watkins Books and the Mind Sports Olympiad. Ilfeld is the inventor of Diving Chess and the author of Beyond Contemporary Art.



James Hanbury               

James Hanbury is Partner and Portfolio Manager at Odey. James joined Odey in October 2008. From 2006-08 James was a partner and fund manager at ZA Capital, an equity hedge fund founded by a Schroder colleague Zafar Ahmadullah. From 2003-06 James was an equity analyst at Schroders covering the retail and leisure sectors. James graduated from Edinburgh University in 2003 and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.



Chris Flowers                  

Chris Flowers is a Managing Director & CEO of JCF and a member of the firm’s Management Committee. He has spent more than 40 years focused on financial services, both as an advisor and as an investor. Chris worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. from 1979 to 1998. At the time of his departure, he was Global Head of the Financial Institutions Group. Chris Flowers, through the Anne and Chris Flowers Foundation and personally, supports many charitable causes. These include anti-malaria efforts in Africa, and Circles of Support, with works with ex-prisoners in New York State. Mr. Flowers serves on the Committee for University Resources at Harvard University and as a trustee of the Kasparov Chess Foundation.



Chris Gant                        

Chris Gant is Senior Partner with 25+ years experience in top tier business and technology consulting and managed services. Responsible for driving EY’s SAP practice growth in EMEIA (Europe, Middle East, India and Africa). Also leading the firm's Covid-19 Control Centre initiative enabled by Social Distancing and Contact Tracing technologies.



Kameron G

Kameron is a 9 year old prodigy from Barnet Knights CC who nearly beat our Chief Executive IM Malcolm Pein in a Blitz game during one of the practice sessions!



Ryad Belab            

Ryad Belab is Head of Options at Market Securities LLP.



Shreyas Royal                

Shreyas Royal, who intends to be World Chess Champion, 2030! Ranked top English Player till U12, 2019. Ranked top 2nd in the World at his age category as per Nov 2018 Fide rating. The Youngest FIDE Candidate Master ever in England at age of 6.
