CSC was delighted to return to Whiteknights Primary School in Reading and Kilburn Grange Primary School in London to run simultaneous chess tournaments for the pupils of the Bellevue Place Education Trust. In total, seven schools took part, competing for individual medals and a trophy for the highest aggregate team score.

Before the tournament began, our CSC tutors delivered short lessons to prepare the children for the competition ahead. The standard of chess was excellent, with some extremely hard-fought games, all played in a very sporting manner.

It was a keenly-fought contest but when all the scores were added up, Whiteknights Primary School and Whitehall Park School emerged as the winners. Full results below:

1st. Whiteknights A - 12 points
