It is with great excitement that we can announce that we are once again holding our All-Girls Under 18 Chess Tournament!
Chess for girls has been going from strength to strength, with more girls taking up the game, joining clubs, playing in tournaments and developing their skills. It has been fantastic to see this growing enthusiasm, and we want to give even more girls the opportunity to play, compete and enjoy chess in a friendly and welcoming environment.
Following the success of our tournament in April, we are delighted to be returning to Holly Lodge Girls' College in West Derby, Liverpool. on Sunday 8th November ...and we're hoping to see an even bigger turnout this time!
The tournament is open to all female players under the age of 18, whether they are relatively new to chess or already experienced tournament players. The emphasis is very much on enjoying the game, meeting other girls who play chess and having the opportunity to compete in a supportive environment.
