CSC undertook an extensive survey of pupils, teachers, headteachers, and parents involved in our Schools' Programme. Nearly 500 respondents took part giving us valuable feedback on the impact of our programme and ideas for how we can further improve our delivery.

Teachers were overwhelmingly positive on the benefits of learning chess on their pupils' academic performance, cognitive skills, and behaviour. Our lessons delivered strong outcomes for children with special educational needs. Children in our programme found chess a calming and relaxing activity, and most importantly, all had fun learning to play the game!
