Chess for your child's school

Do you want to bring chess to your child's school? There are many ways we can support them - for example, with equipment, by training school staff or by supplying one of our qualified Chess Tutors.

We will need direct contact from the school, but you can help by completing our Parental Recommendation Form, or tell them more about us by downloading our brochure.

Chess for your child

If there is no chess at your child's school, we run a growing number of clubs in libraries and other community centres, which are open to players of any ability.

CSC has teamed up with ChessKid to provide significant discounts to parents who want to buy Gold membership of their online platform. Through ChessKid, children can watch instructional videos, test their skills with lessons and puzzles, and play in daily tournaments organised by CSC, in an environment designed with online safety at the forefront. You can find out more here.

We regret that we are unable to provide one-to-one teaching. The English Chess Federation maintains a list of accredited coaches.
