London Chess Classic The London Chess Classic is the charity's flagship event. An annual celebration of chess held in the heart of London that brings together thousands of school pupils from across the country for chess fun as well as Grandmasters and keen chess players. A young player making the first move for GM Levon Aronian There have been 12 London Chess Classics since 2009 and we have been honoured to have world champions Garry Kasparov, Vishy Anand, Veselin Topalov, Vladimir Kramnik and Magnus Carlsen involved. London Chess Classic Albums At every London Chess Classic, Chess in Schools and Communities invites hundreds of schoolchildren per day to Kensington Olympia for chess filled extravaganza.
